If you are a car enthusiast, then you already know that anytime you walk into a showroom, at the latest unveiling of a particular model a manufacturer wants all the world to see and admire, alongside their shiny new car, the brand new jewel of their latest collection, you will be also able to feast your eyes on some particularly pretty ladies, vying for your attention, because as everybody knows, selling a car is all about sex appeal… Well maybe not, but you get the idea.

At an event sponsored by bmw the other way, I was able to witness this delicious phenomenon, being as I was lead to a showroom by an attractive young lady, phone in hand, purring and undulating for the benefits of all. As she was walking in front of me, her phone rang and she couldn’t resist the temptation and answered.

Funny how we, humans, behave when we are on the phone, because for the first 30 or so seconds of the call, this young lady forgot where she was and spoke to whomever was on the other end with what the kind of tone that you would expect if you’d called a phone sex hotline. Her voice was throaty, filled with … well … eroticism and for a brief moment reminded me why men call these types of chatlines.  I will not say if I ever did that, but if I did, given that I am counting pennies, I would surely go for cheap phone sex but that’s all I will say on the subject.

As for the lady, as soon as she realized she had an audience, her voice changed, she told the other person she would call back and that was that.

One thing is sure. I had gone there to see a beautiful car, and came home dreaming about that car that I would probably never be able to afford and of that beautiful woman and her sexy voice that I would also probably never be able to afford. Right now, a hot chat with some babe out there, purring sweet nothings into my ear sounds just about right, and like my ex wife used to say…
